BRUSSELS, Dec 8 (PRIME) -- The European Commission (EC) has suggested imposing new sanctions against Russia’s energy sector, including a ban on investment in the mining industry, Head of the authority Ursula von der Leyen said late on Wednesday.
“We also propose additional economic measures against Russia’s energy and mining sectors, including a ban on new investment in the mining industry,” she said.
The European Commission can also include four Russian television channels into the sanction lists, she added.
